Fellowships

There is an excellent resource at www.anaestheticfellowships.org which has a great list of UK fellowships and lots of information and we would encourage you to look there:

ST7 is advanced training year and trainees are expected to complete two 6-month posts in anaesthetic sub-specialities. Trainees are able to choose from a vast variety of advanced training modules within the South London Schools. These jobs are generally emailed out and you must register your interest, otherwise you are likely to miss out. If there are a number of interested parties than an interview process is undertaken. ST7 trainees will be given priority, as their training time is limited. The latest Advanced Training Module booklet can be found here:

Advanced training modules allow to spend the majority of day time working within the sub-speciality, on call time can be speciality specific or trainees may be part of the general anaesthetic on call.
